Cosmo Rider is a physics-based roguelite bullet-hell-and-heaven horde-survivor action game where players research and upgrade their spaceship, traverse procedurally generated galaxies, and receive support from the Cosmo-Rider guild.

Using advanced warp portals, you can travel to other galaxies, but be cautious—this newfound ability has attracted the attention of other space dwellers, not all of whom are friendly. As a member of the Cosmo Rider guild, you will face intense battles as you capture outposts and dismantle enemy ships.

Advance Through Galaxies

Embark on expeditions through diverse galaxies and solar systems. Each stage presents unique conditions and events, from destructible asteroids to flying comets, offering endless replayability and strategic depth.

Research Cutting-Edge Technology

Between expeditions, dive into deep research to develop new weapons, modules, and modifications. Equip your spaceship with the latest technology to enhance your combat capabilities and survival odds.

Upgrade Your Spaceship

During expeditions, continuously upgrade your ship by installing researched weapons, modules, and modifications. Customize your ship's attributes to suit your playstyle and strategic needs.

Complete Contracts and Conquer Enemies

Fulfill contracts to unlock new research tiers and gain access to more advanced technology. Engage in intense battles, defeat enemy waves, extract valuable cargo and components, and leap through warp portals to advance to the next stage. Enemies will also wield various weapons and modules, which can be shot off during combat for a dynamic battle experience.

Run Duration: Approximately 20 minutes for one solar system and about 1 hour for one galaxy. Progress is saved between stages (each lasting 1-3 minutes), allowing you to load runs later.

Total Playtime: The game features 4 difficulty levels (galaxies), each with 21 stages and 3 bosses. All progress can be reset after completing all galaxies, but your statistics will be preserved.

Meta-Progression / Boosters: Researched items appear during expeditions and can be crafted before starting. A permanent bonus attribute point is awarded after completing a galaxy.

Builds: Three archetypes are currently available: weapon-focused ranger, module-focused ranger, and melee hyper-boost rammer.

Randomness: Players can predefine approximately 60% of their build before starting an expedition, with the remaining 40% chosen during the run.
