Unfair will be the predecessor of our original free-to-play single-player title, but this time we are taking the battle online!

While there will also be some single-player options set up for players to enjoy, the main focus of the new title is to allow players to face off against enemies, team up with friends, or simply fight each other in a free-for-all style set up.

What makes an Airsoft game different from all the other FPS titles out there?

While our game will feature familiar modes, such as Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Capture the Flag, there will be many Airsoft specific elements that will change the game. For instance, there isn't going to be a health bar because it only takes one shot to land and you will have to head back to the respawn before coming back into play.

That's right, this means there will be no “Respawn in 3, 2, 1” type screen and instead you will have to actually walk your character back to respawn so that you can rejoin the fight. This element alone changes the game style alone because you will want to keep that in mind when working on a strategy. The farther you are from base, the longer the walk back to respawn, but if you are nearby then you can respawn in a literal second.

What if I don't want to play with the respawn style that is in Airsoft, but enjoy everything else?

We are taking everything into consideration in the set up of Unfair. The settings menu will allow you to customize a game set up in almost every way. Our custom match options will include:

Lobby Size
Password Lock
Game Mode
Time Limit
Respawn Type: Airsoft (walk to respawn upon death) or Gamer (wait for a respawn timer to bring you back in)
Which Guns Are Allowed
Respawn Limit (number of Deaths allowed per player)

There is still a lot of work to do and decisions to make as we continue to develop Unfair: Airsoft Battlegrounds, but we are sure to host an Alpha session prior to launch.
